CNC Machinist

Our customer is looking for CNC machine setup operator for its factory located in the West Island.

Responsibilities:

 

The ideal candidate should be able to perform CNC machinery and operation tasks,

Adjust and perform machining on numerically controlled machines,

Ensure the assembly of the tools and fixtures,

Operate the machines,

Ensure that all work procedures are followed,

Inspect all parts and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and the maintenance of tools and measuring instruments,

Inform team lead of any anomalies or problems that may hinder the proper functioning of the production.

 

A minimum of one year of experience related to the job.

Education required AEC in machining or equivalent (an asset).

Technical and personal skills Know how to read and interpret drawings and production plans,

Know how to use measuring instruments,

Know how to make assemblies of simple and complex pieces,

Autonomous and attention to detail; Demonstrate organizational skills,

Team work - Sense of urgency and priorities,

Capable  to work under pressure,

Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

 

Location: Montreal West Island,

Language: Preferably Bilingual, English/ French

Diploma: AEC Machining

Salary:  $23-$28/hour depending on experience

Shift: Evening 1.00pm- 10.00pm
